What is Modern Furniture and Finishings?

Modern Furniture and Finishings is a custom made furniture and other wall finishing company. We are passionate about building unique pieces of furniture that make a statement in your home, office, or retail location.

How does your product/service work?

We work with customers to design their piece based on their wants and needs. We can work from some common/standard sizes, or completely customize the entire piece. Our lead times generally are in the 2-3 week timeframe, however depending on the size and scope of the project and workload we have, it may fluctuate.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing varies depending on what type of piece we are making. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. Please visit our contact us page to fill out the form to get a conversation started.

Do you offer delivery/installation?

Yes, we do currently offer delivery and installation. However, depending upon the distance from us and the scope of work, or range for those services changes. For example--We deliver tables up to about a 2 hour range from Columbus meaning Cleveland/Cincinnati. However on site installation and work our range is more local to Columbus and the surrounding areas. Pickup is always free.

How do I care/clean for my new piece?

We have stained and sealed your wood pieces to allow for easy cleanup. We have found that using something like a lysol wipe, mild detergent and water, or other kinds of mild cleaning agents works best. Simply wipe them down, and they should be good to go. Ideally you don't let water sit on wood surfaces for extended (overnight) times. Excessive heat or water for long durations could cause damage.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of custom built furniture, we do not offer a return policy of any kind. We cannot refund and resell as your piece is one of a kind and unique to you.

Payment Options:

If you decide to work with us for your new piece of furniture, we will email you an invoice. In that invoice you will have payment options. Upon a 50% deposit we get started, and the balance will be due upon delivery/pickup/when you receive your item.
